For the last 5 years we have been making promotional videos for Teddies, covering many aspects such as the arts, sports, coeducation, drama, house life & sixth form. Having worked closely with the marketing team at St Edwards, Oxford whilst I was a pupil there, I learnt a lot about how schools market themselves and the best ways in which to promote all that they offer. The latest video was made to celebrate the Gaudy Arts Festival: A week of creativity and performance at the end of the school year. We aimed to capture 'The drama, the dance, the colour, the energy, the style and the outstanding talents of the wonderful pupils'.
Content ranges in distribution and length. The above video celebrates the sixth form at St Edward's and is used for marketing the school online. The video below focuses on the twenty years that girls have been thriving at St Edward's and was used in a physical mail-shot. Sent out in the post, the card video player provided a unique platform to get video content to our audience.
Our regular work with St Edward's since 2015 resulted in a full school video, designed to illustrate the spirit of Teddies in two action packed minutes. The video was edited to multiple lengths to be used both online and on social media.
“Celia is an immensely talented and dedicated young filmmaker. In her work for us at St Edward’s she has demonstrated outstanding creativity, versatility and intelligence in helping us to capture the very best of school life on film. She brings a seemingly never-ending supply of ideas and new approaches to her work and has always been willing to give extra time to get the perfect shot or capture the elusive moment.”
We've also enjoyed producing more short-form work of the school, including this trailer for their recent Edinburgh Fringe Festival production.
We are currently in production for two new videos: House Life at Teddies & Sport at Teddies.
