Tiny Studios created a 90 second film for Cokethorpe’s junior school, focussing around the motif of growth and development, subtly illustrated with a budding flower. The brief of this piece was to be cinematic and to sit as an advert rather than simply a promotional video, and this was reflected in our team and kit for the project.

The team at Cokethorpe were after a cinematic sport film that placed hard work and commitment at its forefront. Taking inspiration from the cinematic style of under armour and nike adverts we set out to make a gritty, fast paced sports film that covered the wide array of sport available to the students at Cokethorpe. From rugby, to horse riding and climbing, we filmed over a few days with a few different DOP’s to ensure there wasn’t a sport missed. This was then combined with a cinematic day of filming where we followed a few ‘heroes’ and their journey as they worked hard and reaped the rewards.
